How Does the Daily Loss Limit Work?

The Daily Loss Limit is 5% of your prior day’s end-of-day balance (which resets each day at 5 PM EST). If your equity falls more than 5% of that previous day’s balance at any point during the day, it’s a hard breach and results in failure of the Assessment or closure of the Funded Account.
