What Is the Daily Cap Limit?

The Daily Cap Limit is +/-3% of your starting balance relative to the prior day’s equity, resetting each day at 5 PM EST. If your account’s net equity moves more than 3% above or below the previous day’s closing equity, any open positions will be closed, and the account will be locked until the next trading day begins.
