Why can't I trade on my account?
Why can't I trade on my account?
Updated over 5 months ago

There may be several reasons why you are unable to trade on your account. Let's walk through a few key checks:

  1. Check Account Status:
Log in to your dashboard and verify that your account status is marked as Active. If the status shows as Inactive, click on the account to review the reason. If further clarification is needed, please contact us directly.

  2. Verify Trading Symbols:
Ensure you are trading the correct symbols for your account. For example, if you're on Platform 5, instruments with a .x suffix are not tradable. Double-check that you're selecting the right instruments for your platform.

  3. Login Credentials:
Ensure you are not using the investor password when logging into your account. You need to use the correct trading password to execute trades.

  4. Lot Size and Margin Requirements:
Verify that you are not exceeding your margin requirements by using lot sizes that are too large for your account. Adjust your lot size to match your available margin.
